Static Page : Build a page.

How do I ADD / BUILD a new page?
Example: Add a new page called Fees.htm in Prospective Students > Admissions

There are two ways you can add / build a new page.

Note: The preferred method in building a page is to simply copy an existing page and make the necessary modifications for the new page.

  1. Login to Contribute
  2. On the Contribute Start page, go to 'Begin editing my websites', then click on SMA :: Home : Welcome
  3. Click on Prospective Student
  4. Click on Admissions
  5. Click on Edit Page

    Within the Admissions page, add the word 'fees' to the end of the paragraph.

    This section includes the information for the prospective students about the academic criteria for SMA admission, details on housing offered and estimates on expenses for the SMA program, and a downloadable SMA application with fees for mailing.


  6. Click on Publish, when done

    After inserting the word 'fees' in the Admissions page, it is now time to build the Fees page.

  7. Click on Requirements, listed under More Info
  8. Click on Edit Page
  9. On the main menu, click on File > Publish as New Page
  10. When presented with this warning message, click on Yes
  11. Enter an a Page title and Filename
  12. Click on Publish, when done

    Note: By clicking on Publish, Contribute builds a duplicate Requirements page.

  13. Click on Edit Page
  14. Delete the information that does not apply to Fees and change the following:
    • breadcrumb links 'Requirements' to 'Fees'
    • under More Info, add a Fees bullet
    • under More Info, convert the Requirements bullet into a link
  15. Click on Publish, when done
