How do I create a link within a page?
Example: Add a 'See Also' box, then a bullet called Financial Information,
then link it to the appropriate section within the Housing & Finance
page.
- Login to Contribute
- On the Contribute Start page, go to 'Begin editing my websites', then click on SMA :: Home : Welcome
- Click on Prospective Students
- Click on Admissions
- Under More Info, click on Housing & Finance
- Click on Edit Page
To add a See Also box, if not displayed on the page.
- Click on template_properties
- Click on see_also_box listed under the column called Name
Note: If the Value column displays 'true' then, the property is displayed on the template. However, if the Value column displays 'false' then, the property is not displayed on the template. - Click on checkbox beside Show see_also_box
- Click on OK, when done
- Under See Also, delete Link 2 and Link 3
- Highlight Link 1 and type in the words 'Financial Information'
- Scroll down to the section where Financial Information is displayed;
place your cursor immediate to the left of the word 'Financial'
Information, then on the main menu, click on Insert > Section Anchor
- In Section Anchor Name textbox, enter 'fin_info'
- Click on OK, when done
- In See Also box, highlight Financial Information
- On the main menu area, click on Link-button > Browse to Web Page
- On the Insert Link window, in HREF textbox, enter '#fin_info'
- Click on OK, when done
- Click on Publish, when complete
