Links : Overview.

A link can point to any resource on the web: a page; an image; a sound file, a movie, the list is endless. However, on this document I will show you how to add, edit, and delete the following links that are commonly used on the SMA website.

Links that are commonly seen and used in the SMA website are:

Top of Page Link
You would add this link to a page to reduce the use of window scrollbars. This is particularly useful when you have a long page filled with information. The rule of thumb is, for each page section heading, you would add this link. In doing so, after your viewers have finished reading a section, they can simply click on the 'Top of Page' link and jump to the the top of the page to view other headings which interests them.

Page Content Links (also known as Anchors)
Page Content links (also known as anchors) improves your viewers experience. It allows your viewers to go directly to the information they need within a page or within the SMA website. This avoids the need to scroll and skim through the page content in search for the information needed.

Page Link
Links are used to "link" two or more pages together. When creating links, be descriptive so that viewers know exactly what to expect.
