Generative Craft is the place where I post some of my design investigations and collaborations at MIT, where I am a Presidential fellow working towards a doctoral dissertation in the Design & Computation Group.
Prior to MIT I was teaching Architecture in Universidad de los Andes, and practicing as an independent architect and media designer in rainy Bogotá. I have consulted as a computational design specialist for KPF NY, and have taught several scripting workshops around the world.
My work -both theoretical and applied- aims at building a critical perspective on design automation as a cultural enterprise, and as a field for aesthetic exploration and inquiry. |
