From the earliest days of MIT's existence, women on campus realized the benefit of meeting with one another as a means of building support, friendship, and affinity.

Nearly 100 years later, those same needs exist on today's multicultural and multifaceted campus, where hundreds of new students, faculty, staff, and their families arrive each year from all parts of the country and the world.

The League prides itself on its multitude of offerings and openness to new members and new ideas. If you seek friendship, public service projects, or conversational English classes, to acclimate to your new surroundings, the MIT Women's League is ready and able to help. Membership is free and open to all.
