Title: Statistics of Nonlinear Wave Fields: the effect of directionality,
peak enhancement factor and wave steepness

Abstract:
Methodically investigating ocean surface wave statistics is made
possible with validated, phase-resolved, large-scale, non-linear ocean
wave-field simulations. We vary three wave field physical parameters,
namely initial directional spread, initial wave steepness and input
spectral peak enhancement factor and we investigate the relationships
between these variations and wave field statistical properties.
