I am a graduate student in Philosophy at MIT. Before coming to MIT, I spent some time studying here, here, and here. I work primarily in Epistemology, but I also have interests in Ethics and the History of Philosophy. My dissertation deals with questions about rational self-doubt that arise in a number of contexts, including the recent debate on the epistemic significance of disagreement and the old problem of skepticism. My focus in Ethics is on moral luck, moral responsibility, and determinism. In the History of Philosophy, my interests center on Hume, Kant, and Reid. [CV]
