Overview

The Visual Arts Program's full time teaching faculty consists of Krzysztof Wodiczko, Joan Jonas, Ute Meta Bauer, and Wendy Jacob. Four to five visiting professors, artists, and lecturers supplement this faculty each year. Currently, nine graduate students work towards their SMVisS over a two year course of study, with the Visual Arts Program doubling in size to eighteen SMVisS students over the next two years. Undergraduate and graduate students from other departments enhance their education through VAP courses. These faculty and students are supported by a program administrator and two technical instructors.
