institute

a focus
on developmental
biology.
In accordance
with
the
terms
of the
affiliation
agreement
between
Whitehead
Institute
and
MIT,
all
Whitehead
Institute
faculty
members
have
appointments
in the
MIT
Biology
Department.
As joint
faculty
members,
Whitehead
Institute
faculty
have
teaching
responsibilities
to undergraduate
and
graduate
students
and
welcome
student
participation
in their
research
projects.
