Hosting Skolkovo Moscow Business School

Skolkovo Business School is the leading business education project in modern Russia. The school exists to help transform Russia's economy from one that is based on natural resources to a model based on technology, innovations, entrepreneurship, and diversification. MBA graduates from this premier school are positioned to become future business leaders in Russia.

MIT Sloan School of Management is an academic partner of Skolkovo. This relationship serves as an entry point for those interested in doing business in Russia.

The MIT Russian Club is pleased to host Skolkovo MBA students at MIT in August-October, when they take classes at MIT Sloan and internships in Cambridge and Boston based companies. We help Skolkovo access various resources available at MIT and organize meetings with world recognized experts and networking events where students can interact with members of the MIT community.

Some out of a dozen of activities for these students provided by the MIT Russian Club in 2010 are as follows:

-	MIT/Cambridge/Boston Early Orientation
-	Lecture by Robert Langer, an Institute Professor at MIT, biochemist, and the most cited engineer in history with about 760 patents and over 220 companies founded
-	MIT Sailing course, a unique adventure at the largest university sailing club in the world
-	Networking reception with the MIT and the Boston business communities, a great opportunity for students, inventors, and entrepreneurs to build their network
-	Football match with MIT Sloan Fellows, which seems to become annual tradition. In 2010, we started this friendly multinational battle with a diplomatic score 2:2
-	Meeting with the CEO in the oldest America's bar
-	Lecture by Ronald Heifetz, Kennedy School of Government for MIT student clubs officers, MIT Sloan, and Skolkovo.
