MIT Housing Office and the Summer Housing Lottery

MIT's undergraduate residence program helps students find a living environment where they can thrive personally, socially and academically. Whether a student chooses to live in one of MIT's 11 undergraduate residence halls or 4 cultural houses, there's a diversity of lifestyles and cultures within the residence system that reflects that of our student body.

The Housing at MIT website provides specifics on each of the residence halls; housing application procedures (i.e. the summer housing lottery), forms and deadlines; details on the special housing programs; and answers to commonly asked questions.

Freshman Summer Housing Assignments are now available. See http://mit.edu/housinglottery/ to check your Housing Assignment.

If you have any questions regarding undergraduate housing, please visit W59-200, call 617-253-2811, or email residence@mit.edu.
