Giving to MIT

The Ike Colbert Fund for Graduate Community underscores the commitment of the Office of the Dean for Graduate Education to enhancing the quality of graduate student life. This permanent fund is an outgrowth of the Graduate Student Life Grants, an innovative request-for-proposal program that has tapped into a wellspring of creative ideas for enriching the graduate experience. Gifts to the Fund are used to support student life and learning initiatives in many ways.

For example, partial funding supports the Graduate Community Fellows who work hand in hand with staff within the ODGE or partner organizations at MIT. Each Fellow focuses on creating programs for unique constituencies, such as programs for women or international students, or refining existing programs, such as the grants program.
