Yunus Challenge to Alleviate Poverty

The Yunus Challenge to Alleviate Poverty, named in honor of 2007 Noble Prize winner Muhammad Yunus, challenges MIT students to tackle the causes and effects of poverty in communities around the world. Develop a project that combines in-person experience of poverty with feasible approaches to its alleviation and apply for project funding through the PSC Fellowships, Internships, or Grants programs.

Legatum Fellowships: Application deadline for 2010-11 is February 10, 2010
The Legatum Center is now accepting applications for Legatum Fellows, a competitive fellowship program that provides financial assistance, seminars and business plan coaching, and substantial networking for MIT graduate students seeking to create innovative businesses that promote prosperity in low-income countries.
