Graduate Fellowships in Energy
Named MIT Energy Fellowships are available for first-year doctoral students planning to study energy. As Energy Fellows, students are funded for their first year of study and have many opportunities to meet and interact with their industry sponsors. They also become members of the Society of Energy Fellows at MIT, an organization within the MIT Energy Initiative established to foster a network of students dedicated to meeting the world's future energy needs.
New Members of the Society of Energy Fellows
The 2009-2010 Named MIT Energy Fellows gathered together on the steps outside of building 10 in Killian Court during orientation. At a lively reception in the Bush Room, they met each other and were welcomed to MIT by Vladimir Bulović, Professor of Electrical Engineering & Computer Science, member of MIT’s Energy Council, and co-chair of the Energy Education Task Force; and Tim Heidel, graduate student in Electrical Engineering & Computer Science and co-president of the Energy Club.
