an aggressive change and investment process MIT has created a unique
and flexible program ensuring you great value, quality choices and
inviting social environments to meet with friends. This year you
will enjoy greater dining choices than ever before and we have more
options coming.
Campus Dining offers two programs: Dining Dollars and the House Dining Membership
Dining Dollars is an alternative to the student TechCASH debit account. The Dining Dollars account can only be used in all dining halls, restaurants, food courts, cafes on campus, card reader-equipped vending machines and for late night pizza delivery

House Dining Membership is a dining program designed by MIT students to support House Dining participation. Membership gives House Dining Members a 50% discount on dinner purchases at the four West Campus House Dining locations, and the Simmons Hall late night café. Students who live in a residence with House Dining services, are automatically enrolled and billed the $300* per semester program fee. Halls with House Dining locations include Baker House, McCormick Hall, Next House and Simmons Hall.
Optional enrollment in House Dining Membership is available to all MIT students, faculty and staff regardless of residence. All MIT Community Members, with our without a House Dining Membership, are welcome in all House Dining Rooms. Participants who would rather try the program before enrolling may chose to enroll later in the term, late enrollments are charged on a prorated basis determined by the remaining numbers of meals in the semester.
Please note, once you have enrolled in House Dining Membership, no refunds of the enrollment fee will be issued for any reason.
