MIT Mexico
"My experience interning at Volaris during the summer of 2007 was rewarding in every way possible. I had the opportunity to work in a diverse team from 3 different countries. I received guidance and feedback from experienced professionals. I presented my findings to top officials in the company. I explored the city and celebrated Mexican soccer victories with my co-workers. Thank you for making this possible!"
— Nicki Lehrer, intern at Volaris
Go to Mexico!
The MIT-Mexico program was launched in 2004 and it was MISTI's first program with a Spanish-speaking country it is unique among the MISTI programs because it is the only program in Latin America and the initiative came from Clubmex, a Mexican student group at MIT, and because the program received significant financial support from the MIT alumni organization in Mexico.
The MIT-Mexico Program facilitates dynamic connections between the thinkers and ideamakers of the MIT community and their counterparts in Mexico. Drawing from an extraordinary network of renowned research institutes, universities, and corporations, the MIT-Mexico Program aims to be as vital and multifaceted as the country it represents.
Through the MIT-Mexico Program, MIT students have
