Students > After MISTI
We still have much to offer you once you have returned from your MISTI experience — from advice about graduate schools abroad to contacts at overseas companies. Here are a few other opportunities to consider:
Write a blog or testimonial.
Share your enthusiasm about your MISTI experience with prospective students by writing about it for the MISTI Admissions Office guest blog or MISTI First-Hand page.
Become an ambassador.
MISTI students return from some of the world's great cities with fresh perspectives about what is happening in the region they have just visited. The MISTI Ambassador Program gives them a chance to share what they've learned about their host countries and about MISTI itself with students considering work or study abroad. Let us know if you'd like to become a MISTI Ambassador.
Provide feedback.
We urge you to provide feedback about your experience to MISTI staff so that we can continue to build and strengthen the program.
Pursue a Minor in Applied International Studies. The minor integrates hands-on cross-cultural learning with primary courses of study, expanding the depth and reach of any field.
Access the alumni network.
Interested in building your network within a specific country? Explore the Institute's alumni network to learn about MIT alumni living in that region.
Go again!
Enrich your MISTI experience. Why not consider a second or third internship — either to the same country...or a different continent entirely? Perhaps you'd like to consider spending a semester or a year studying abroad? Or maybe you would like to participate in a MISTI workshop? For maximum enrichment, explore the full range of MISTI possibilities.
