Welcome to the MIT-Mexico network. Through our partners here and abroad, we offer you an extensive range of opportunities in academia and industry. You can choose among workshops, internships, research collaborations — even permanent professional positions. Your role is to tell us your goals so that we can optimize your experience.
Who, what, when.
If you are a freshman, sophomore, junior, senior, graduate student, or recent alum, you are eligible to participate in MIT-Mexico programs. We will coordinate your interests with our partners in universities, research institutions, corporations, and organizations throughout Mexico. We encourage stays of three months or longer so that you develop a deep sense of what it means to live a life in Mexico.
Know your neighbors.
To make the most of your experience, you must have certain level of the language. With four semesters of Spanish or the equivalent and orientation sessions through out the year, you will have the confidence you need not only to communicate, but to be productive in the Mexican professional and cultural environment.
