Matthew wrote and maintains GAlib, a library of C++ components for optimization using genetic algorithms.
Matthew helped build Decavitator, a human powered hydrofoil on which Professor Mark Drela set a world record speed of 18.5 knots in 1991. Matthew is the curator of the Decavitator web site.
