Ways to End Your Speech

• a summary of your key ideas
• refer to the occasion
• issue a call to action
• a poem
• a quotation (perhaps the same one you started with)
• the moral of your story
• keep a second closing after the question and answer session
• if you say thank you, be sure to say why you are thanking them
• don't let the words "in conclusion" be your only standing ovation!
