Industrial Collaboration
A key part of the ISN mission is creating real products for
real Soldiers. Industry, with its expertise in manufacturing
commercial products, is critical to turning laboratory innovations
into soldier equipment.
The ISN currently has fourteen
industrial partners participating in its Industry
Consortium, including Founding Partners DuPont, Partners
Healthcare and Raytheon. The ISN consortium companies
bring to the ISN valuable core competencies in research
and development, as well as an enthusiasm for improving
the survivability of the Soldier of the future.
The ISN Industry Consortium offers three
levels of participation. Companies wishing to consider
partnering with the ISN should contact the ISN directly.
Based on initial discussions, the ISN may choose to receive prospectuses
from companies wishing to become Major Industrial Members
or Small Business Industrial Members of the Industry Consortium.
Companies wishing to become Interested Industrial Participants
may do so at any time of the year; no prospectus is required.
