"The Lion in Winter" is a slice of the dysfunctional family life of Henry II of England.
In a Christmas showdown, Henry matches wits with his crafty wife Eleanor and his three
ambitious sons over who will be heir to his throne. Also invited to the holiday
battle are the King of France and his sister Alais-- Henry's young mistress and a much
sought-after prize. Schemes, plots, twists, backstabbing, and psychological torment
follow in this royal family feud to come out on top!
