Additional Submission Requirements

  • If the project is to take place at a distant site (possibly outside the U.S.), the proposal should make clear that the necessary facilities, people, and materials would be available there and any requisite permissions have been obtained.  If a language other than English is required, please give some evidence of your competence.
  • Remember the “WOW” quotient when preparing your submission, i.e. produce a Well-written, Original, and Workable research proposal that “wows” the Fellowship Committee.

  • Submit a Pre-Proposal: While pre-proposals are not required, we strongly encourage you to participate in our new pre-proposal process. Submitting a pre-proposal may help you develop your Eloranta project idea further and create a stronger final Eloranta proposal

  • Pre-Proposals for Summer 2008 Fellowships are due by 5PM on Monday, January 7, 2008.
  • Committee suggestions for further faculty contact, writing style, etc. will be distributed to you by Feb 1, so that you have plently of time to complete your final proposal

See Proposal Format for complete submission guidelines.
