Assisted Living: Today (October 29) will look at the current profile of the assisted living industry. The course will address the evolution of assisted living, determining market demand and financial feasibility for this product, customer segmentation and programming, and design and development feasibility. Assisted Living: Tomorrow (October 30) will build on the prior day and will invite students to assess the opportunities associated with re-inventing senior housing into an adaptive and agile services hub that meets the needs of an aging population.  Students will evaluate the new technologies, political policies, economic costs, and management challenges associated with creating the assisted living environment of the future.
