Communication Requirement: project-based pilots

Project-based CI subjects for Spring 2007, Spring 2008, and Spring 2009

The Committee on the Undergraduate Program has licensed these subjects as Communication Intensive for the Spring 2007, Spring 2008, and Spring 2009 terms:

One of these subjects may count towards your four-subject Communication Requirement (CR).

A completed project-based CI subject will serve as an appropriate CI in determining your minimum rate of CR completion.

CI subjects will not appear in your student degree audit as CI subjects. When you apply to graduate, individual adjustments will be made to your audit, if necessary, to allow the project-based CI to audit as either a CI-H or a CI-M.
Please use the Project-based CI Subject Request Form if you need the CI subject to count toward your Communication Requirement. Please note: we will only accept this form if you are in your final semester at MIT.

A project-based CI subject may not substitute for a required CI-HW subject. However, you may receive CI credit for a project-based CI taken concurrently with a required CI-HW.

This experiment does not license the project-based subjects as either HASS subjects or part of departmental programs.
