The Department of Biology at MIT is pleased to host Biogen Idec Day on Tuesday, November 18, 2008.

The day's featured speaker is Anthony M. Manning, Ph.D., Vice-President, Inflammation and Autoimmune Diseases Research. His talk — "Targeting signal transduction in inflammatory diseases: A decade and more of discovery" — will be presented at 11:00 in the Broad Institute Auditorium, Room NE30-1154. Refreshments will be served at 10:40 outside of 1154.

Biology and Biogen Idec are very happy with this opportunity to work together on a pilot program to explore our mutual interests and goals while encouraging the flow of knowledge and resources between the biological life sciences at MIT and Biogen Idec.
