Biology Dept. hosts Vertex Day

The Department of Biology at MIT is pleased to host Biogen Idec Day on Tuesday, November 18, 2008.

The day's featured speaker is Anthony M. Manning, Ph.D., Vice-President, Inflammation and Autoimmune Diseases Research. His talk — "Targeting signal transduction in inflammatory diseases: A decade and more of discovery" — will be presented at 11:00 in the Broad Institute Auditorium, Room NE30-1154. Refreshments will be served at 10:40 outside of 1154.

Biology and Biogen Idec are very happy with this opportunity to work together on a pilot program to explore our mutual interests and goals while encouraging the flow of knowledge and resources between the biological life sciences at MIT and Biogen Idec. We envision a long and successful relationship with Biogen Idec.
