Student Group Rules and Regulations

All ASA Groups (excepting FSILG's) must abide by the following policies:

• Membership:
• The group's membership will at all times consist of at least five MIT students and be more than half MIT students.
• This group will not discriminate based on any characteristic listed in MIT's Nondiscrimination Statement.
• If the group charges any monetary dues, there will be exceptions made for students who cannot afford these dues.
• Officers:
• The group shall have at least one president. The president shall be in charge of the group. The group's president shall be an MIT student. If the group is run by co-presidents, at least half of the co-presidents shall be MIT students.
• The group shall have a treasurer. The treasurer shall be repsonsible for the group's finances. The treasurer shall be an MIT student.
