Group Funding
Student groups are given the autonomy and responsibility to spend their funds as the group sees fit (provided they do not break Institute policy, State, or Federal law). The expectation is that student group members will adhere to good business practices and act responsibly as stewards of MIT.
Some useful funding resources:
- Student Activities Finance Office (SAFO)
- Undergraduate Association Finance Board
- Undergraduate Association Senate
- Graduate Student Council Funding Board
- Funding Large Events at MIT
- Council for the Arts
Financial Training
SAFO offers Financial Training sessions several times during the academic year. See their page for the current schedule.
