Linda Cuccurullo Home Page
Welcome to my Home page! Here are few professional facts about me:
- I graduated from Wheaton College with a B.A. in German Language and Literature
- I got a Masters in Library Science from Simmons College while working at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology
- I have been a Librarian at the MIT Libraries for all of my adult life, initially focusing on art and architecture and gradually developing expertise in all subject areas, as well as all languages and formats
- I studied architecture at the Boston Architectural College and Harvard Extension School
That's what I’ve done professionally. When I'm not working, I enjoy the
following:
- I love traveling, especially to foreign countries. My favorite
cities include Rome, Paris Paris,
Nice, Edinburgh, and London. The most remote spot I have ever
visited was Bali - the flight took over 30 hours, but it was worth
every minute of airtime!
- I love to take photographs, especially in the cities mentioned
above. I have exhibited my work many times in the Boston/Cambridge
area. Here is an example of my work, if you're interested.
- I also love going to the movies. One of my favorite actors is Jeff
Bridges. I watched and photographed him while he was filming "Blown
Away" at MIT and around Boston. I also spoke with his stunt double, Vince
Deadrick, Jr.
My daughter Paula is an MIT grad, now living and working in Scotland -
