Dr. Reimer presents paper New Demands from an Older Population: An Integrated Approach to Defining the Future of Older Driver Safety

On October 16th Dr. Bryan Reimer, AgeLab research scientist and coauthor of New Demands from an Older Population: An Integrated Approach to Defining the Future of Older Driver Safety, presented at the Society of Automotive Engineers' 2006 Convergence conference. The paper, coauthored by AgeLab director Dr. Joseph Coughlin, details the impact of an aging population on automobile development, design, liability and policy, and was recently published in the conference proceedings. This leading transportation electronics event is held biennially in Detroit, Michigan and hosts the foremost international engineers, executives, and technologists.
