Currently, Charles Stark Draper Professor of Aeronautics and Astronautics and Housemaster of New House Residence Hall at MIT. Professor Harris served as the Associate Provost for Faculty Equity, from 2008-2013. He also served as the Department Head of the MIT Department of Aeronautics and Astronautics between 2003 and 2008.
