CHANGING The grading or registration STATUS of a subject

If you missed the deadline (see below) for any of the following changes to Grading or Credit status of a subject, in the current or a previous term, you will need to petition the CAP.

• Regular to Sophomore Exploratory Status
• Sophomore Exploratory Status to Regular
• Change Sophomore Exploratory Subject from Credit to Listener
• Letter Grades to Junior/Senior P/D/F
• Junior/Senior P/D/F to Letter Grades
• Credit to Listener
• Listener to Credit
  

Petitioning CAP for a Late Change to Grading or Registration Status

• Review our petition process, which includes information about signatures and statements, extenuating circumstances, petition deadlines, and petition review.

• Download a Late Change of Grading or Registration Status form, explain your request in a brief statement, obtain appropriate signatures and statements from Institute personnel, and submit the petition to the CAP Office.

ADD DATE occurs in the 5th week of each term, DROP DATE in the 10th week. See the Academic Calendar for exact dates.
